TOWING CHARGES IN ONTARIO

Hello Guys and Galls here is a touchy topic for me... TOWING CHARGES IN ONTARIO. I have seen astronomical bills lately in the Toronto area that are highly unreasonable. There are new bylaws in Mississauga which is a godsend but in area's such as Vaughan/ Woodbridge I am still seeing huge bills. You are probably reading this after you are either charged with DWI or after you have been in a car accident and wishing you read this first; especially if you are not getting your insurance company involved in the matter. There is a company that most should be familiar with call Street Pro. I have seen towbills over $2000 from this company to tow the car merely only a couple of kilometers.

TOW THE CAR TO YOUR HOME! I cant stress this enough. OR tow the truck to a trusted shop that you have used previously or your insurance company's preferred vendor. I am seeing too many people tow their car to where these "chaser tow" companies suggest. No matter how nice the tow truck driver is and promises to look after you or waive your insurance deductible, if you are in a heavy metropolitan area chances are they will be charging you a fortune in storage if you get the vehicle towed

PLEASE WATCH IT AND GET INFORMED TO AVOID ANY HIGH TOW BILLS FOR EITHER YOURSELF OR YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. INSURANCE RATES ARE HIGH ENOUGH AS IT IS. THERE IS NOT MUCH THAT YOU CAN DO TO FIGHT THESE TOW BILLS BECAUSE MANY OF THESE COMPANIES ARE OPERATING WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LAW.
